Danie’Lopes is a multimedia designer and programmer holding a bachelor and master’s degree in Design and Multimedia at the University of Coimbra. Currently, he is a researcher in the Cognitive Media Systems Lab., of the Centre of Informatics and systems of the University of Coimbra. Simultaneously, he is a PhD student in Science and Technologies of Informations at the same institution. Among others, he has collaborated with R2 design — an Oporto based, award-winning studio —, Círculo de Artes Plásticas de Coimbra — in charge of the Bienal of Contemporary Art of Coimbra — and the Architecture Department of the University of Coimbra. Member of the American association The Professional Association for Design (AIGA), he has been a bronze winner at the Creativity International Awards 2019 and he has been nominated to other two international design prises — The European Design Awards 2019 and the ADC Young Ones 2019.
