Daniel Seemayer is a German graphic designer, currently based in Düsseldorf (DE) where he works at the intersection of culture and commerce. With a strong focus on typography, editorial work and the synergy of these elements, his work underlies a collaborative process-driven approach based on observations that evolve into solutions regarding questions around aesthetics, content and politics. After graduating from the Peter Behrens School of Arts (Düsseldorf, DE) he received an MFA from the Sandberg Institute, the masters programme at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (Amsterdam, NL) and gained experienece at Studio Adriaan Mellegers (Amsterdam, NL), Mainstudio (Amsterdam, NL) and Ludovic Balland Typography Cabinet (Basel, CH).
