On this 11/november we turned 5 years! It has been quite an experience to develop this project so far, and I look forward to bring all our ideas to life. There is lot of things to be done, from the design to new features, from publications to events. I am writing this post to thank every participant and every follower, for their appreciation and enthusiasm. People who let us know we are heading to the right direction and who gives us strength to dedicate time and efforts to typo/graphic posters. Now I am happy to have help from a second pair of hands, from Flávia, who is coping with all emails and internal processes (she is also my girlfriend :) so I can focus on layout and coding. Later this year we released our first book , in partnership with IdN, with a selection of our members and their best posters. We look forward to make more partnerships like that, to gather and promote our members more and more. typo/graphic posters is a personal project that has grown with me in profession, I learn lots of things by dealing with scale, database, several members and visitors, and things I learn from the regular work I bring back to improve here too, so it is a nice sharing experience. Which is not necessarily good because I can’t dedicate all the time I wanted — still can’t afford to exchange a couple of business days with typo/graphic — but I’d like to phrase that this is my dearest project and I’d like to deliver to you the best it can get, a honest, free and pleasant website to inspire and promote great designers and their posters.
